We enjoy gardening. This is our garden for the year. The food will last us into next Spring. Alot of the plants were damaged by a recent hail storm, but the humidity and sun seem to be bringing them back to life.
This is the sweetcorn patch. It looked really bad after the hail storm, but it seems to be coming through!
These pictures are of the view where we live. I know there are a lot of pretty places to live, but this is home to us and we think it is so peaceful and beautiful! There are rolling hills, pastures, ponds, timber, and animals in the distance.
Noelle (16 months)seems to think it is a good idea to climb the gate! Why not, everyone else does it!

Little Girls
Caden and Macy were at Bible school this past week during the day, and it was a nice change of pace for me to just have Julia and Noelle at home. We played dress-up!These two are quite the pair! Their personalities are so different, but they adore each other and play well together when Macy and Caden aren't around.

Boy stuff....
Caden caught his first two fish tonight.....
And Caden lost his first tooth recently.....
And Caden continues to be a fantastic big brother to the princess of the house!
He passed first grade (we teased him and made sure to find the spot on his report card that said he can move up a grade) and he is excited to show his sister the ropes of the big, yellow Bus in the Fall.
(Sorry about the dates on the pictures...they are not from January..some little hands got ahold of my camera and messed up the date!)
