I do not like the new blogger system. It is difficult--maybe some of you bloggers understand. So, if I don't post much...it is because I am confused and it takes so much more time! Pictures, especially, seem difficult!
Summer is in full swing. We wrapped up Macys softball season and Caden's baseball season and swim lessons and we officially signed our life away on an old farmhouse haha! and we survived a round of poison ivy and sunburns (because momma forgot the sunscreen!)! Josh does have help at the Lumberyard, so I have been free to be with the kids and I am loving every minute of it! I am told, however, that August 15th I have my job back! We look forward to Julia's 6th birthday this week, camp for Caden, All-Star Caden's baseball team that Josh is coaching, and much much work on the house. It is completely studs on the downstairs and we are awaiting a concrete person to do some basement work. Then rebuilding will begin. We are able to stay where we live for the Summer, so that is a blessing. We are hoping to do some camping, maybe a St. Louis trip, Adventureland and I-Cubs game...but as for now it seems like time is short and flying by. Whew! Keeping up with food and laundry seems really hard lately. Josh says I was more caught up at home when I was working...hmmm...wonder why that is?!!
Blessings and Happy Summer to you and your family!!

Fish!
These kids are little fish! We finished up 2 weeks of swim lessons with flying colors!
Caden mastered treading water for 5 minutes and learning the Butterfly!
Macy mastered treading water for 2 minutes and worked hard at learning the breath stroke!Julia Joy mastered jumping off the board!
And Noelle...she mastered winning her teachers heart and bobbing with her head underwater.
Mom (that'd be me) mastered patience from sitting at the pool for 3 1/2 hours for 10 days straight!
Woot, Woot for my little fish!!

Hear them ROAR!!
Yes, the house project demo is still in full swing. Yes, Caden and Josh have been ROARING as they work!
Here is the last of the downstairs...the bathroom...this is the last of the "demo"...the 3rd dumpster is quickly filling...closing date is set for June 11th...we are pumped to get this show on the road! Re-building will be much more fun! However, I am so amazed and proud of the boys. They have given it their all! Caden got the duty of destroying the lovely blue toliet with a sledge hammer!
(these pictures were taken last weekend)
And waalaa! The bathroom is completely gone today...Josh is up in the rafters knocking down insulation which is why it looks like snow is falling!
Caden has put much sweat into this project at his dad's side! It has been neat to watch!
Summer is in full swing! Wishing everyone a safe and blessed Summertime!
Cherish these days, they are passing quickly!
I hadn't taken you upstairs yet!
