Random...and Precious!

Caden and Macy with their Oskaloosa cousins...Leah and Wesley.

Today was so beautiful! Noelle and Julia were outside all afternoon, so I thought I'd share some pictures that I took of them.

We are a Lumber Family....

Gadgets..Gadgets..Gadgets..there are lots of gadgets to be found!

Lumber, Lumber, Lumber...there are stacks and stacks of lumber!

Trucks, Trucks...trucks to be careful of!

I caught Josh having way to much fun for a Saturday morning at work!

Of course, the kids needed to find a way to be in on that action with dad!

Friends!

Josh's best friend from high school (Jeff) and his really cute, little family live only 5.4 miles away from us! We had supper with them on Friday night. Julia held baby Cole for as long as we would let her...Noelle found a baby of her own, and it suprisingly looks like she is dragging baby Cole around! Macy and their daughter Kara are the same age, and Caden won Kara's little heart by the time the evening was over. We joked about Jeff and Josh riding in the backseat of the car on their first date!! We are extremely thankful for friends like this in our new community!

Nature

We took a walk today to the pond behind our house. We found these giant goose eggs. Noelle pointed and said a new word, "Geese!". We even watched some flying in and land on the pond. Nature is so cool!

Then Macy had the nerve to say she has, "Nothing else to do!"...the poor child!

Today

We had a great day today. Not much happening, we're just hangin' out at home.
There is a pasture with sheep behind our house. The kids were really interested in what the farmer was doing this afternoon. Macy says that she is planting a garden full of foods to feed the sheep. Last week when the farmer was choring the kids were hanging on the gate talking to him, and they came in the house all excited that the farmer says the sheep will eat corn and oats, so that is what will be planted in their garden!!

Mac n' Cheese for lunch today!

Julia kept looking at Noelle with these eyes. I think she was amazed at the mess Noelle was making!

A few pictures from our day...

We spent the day at my sister's house today. It is only a 25 minute drive to her house now...I am so excited! Here are just a few photos of us from the day.
We are lovin' life in Davis County!

Moved

We had a fantastic move this past weekend. So many people stepped up to the plate and helped us out...we are so thankful for this Reinbeck crew!
Julie P. was the vaccuum queen!

Lori washed all the woodwork and mopped the floors.

Heather washed windows.

Jamie held Heather's baby!

And the kids even had playmates while all this cleaning was taking place.

Not to mention....5 guys loaded the trailer...it was FULL..not an inch of space left in the trailer, van, or truck. Check out Macy packed in tight!

All of this took 5 hours! We drove in a snowstorm to Southern Iowa...and were greeted by 7 guys who unloaded us in two hours.
Here is Macy and Caden's new room. Macy picked out the border, and she was very anxious to set up her bed.

Caden is on the bus at 7:00 AM for his new school, Josh is loving the lumberyard, Macy plays all day in her room because she says, "IT IS SO FUN!", I'm making the house "home", and life goes on......

Thank you to anyone who is praying for our transition!
