Silver tooth!

Well, the yearly dental check-ups resulted in Julia needing a silver cap.
The dentist told her it would be worth more money to the toothfairy!
I guess well see about that!
I'm sorry to tell this girl that she probably got the "Lyle" mouth...small, crowded, and cavity prone!

Noelle is quick to announce that she has "no cavities!".

New Cousin!

My brother had a baby boy this past weekend. Such a little perfect peanut!
Emerson Levi Lyle, we are glad to have you join the family!
Sisters, Olivia (4) and Elyse (2), are gentle with him so far.
Olivia keeps announcing that "she wanted a sister".
"Boys will knock over my toys!", she says.

This Old House!

Closed off stairway--this is in what will be the kitchen

It is now an Open stairway in the kitchen!
Old!
New!  The other side will be family room.
The first boards go up for re-building!
And wa-la! A new framed in door-way!
This is how we spent the 4th of July! Josh was thrilled to get a whole day to do construction!
It was excessively hot, as you all know! The kids and I did make our way to the pool.
Everyone found a project....scrapes from dad were made into a dog house and a picture frame!
Happy 4th of July!

Julia turns 6!

June 26th we celebrated a 6 year old!
Check out this beautiful rainbow cake made by Grandma Karla!
It was gorgeous and yummy!
The sister pose...Julia in a new nightgown!
 Sleeping, like her new friend.
New lamp and dress....and once again, the sister pose!
Julia wanted to visit the 'American Doll' store for her birthday, until realizing that it was a whole day trip to get to a store and she did not want to do that (Whew! Where did she get so practical!!ha!)  Good thing for the Target version of the blond, blue eyed doll! So, Julia has a new friend named Sara!

They got him down!

These are Fathers Day pictures that I just got around to posting.
The girls cannot get enough of their dad.
Business, coaching baseball, and trying to get our old house 'move-in ready' pretty much has Josh exhausted this Summer. This picture is how his Fathers Day was spent!

Camper

This was Caden's first Summer camp experience. It was a local 3 night church camp. The girls were glad to see him when we picked him up. I got three reports on the way home: 1) the run down of all the food he ate 2) He had no shower! 3) He and his buddy tried to fit into one sleeping bag. "And we didn't even break the zipper!". he said.     Great, Buddy! Glad you had fun!
