Josh left the 4 girls in-charge at the Lumberyard today. He and Caden went to a baseball clinic. Oh Boy, did we have fun! We actually sold some plywood and screws and 3 wood chisels (woohoo!).
The kids set up this area of display railings as their store and pretend to buy things from each other. One time Julia was telling Noelle to "Have a nice day!" --when the customer leaving hollered from the doorway, "Thanks. You too!".
Josh and I laughed hard at that!
Anyone need....A ladder stabilizer (Macy took all of these pictures)
A paint color? The kids have colors for their rooms all picked out.
Or nails? We have lots of nails...I think every size and color of nail!
We have enjoyed owning a business so far and enjoy being there as a family. We look forward to being able to put the kids to WORK as they grow more able. Caden will put lumber away and run the forklift, Macy will be our designer, Julia--greeting customers and cracking jokes, Noelle...we're not quite sure yet what her personality will lead to--maybe she'll be good handling money (hmmm...?)...and this leaves Josh and I off on vacation! HA!
